Caora Dhubh, Isle of Skye

Caora Dhubh’s interiors are as attractive as the next speciality coffee shop, but it’s the setting which makes this Isle of Skye cafe a must-visit. Located on the banks of Loch Harport, the industrial-chic shack is a cracking spot to pick up a coffee to-go and sip (and snap) to an awesome backdrop.   

Foodstory, Aberdeen

The rustic vibe (we’re talking greenery, wood and exposed brick) at this plant-based cafe perfectly aligns with its eco-friendly and zero-waste ethos. Grab a seat at one of the communal benches, order a flat white and a stack of sweet potato pancakes and snap away until you can’t help but dive in.

Space Speciality Coffee House, Glasgow

From the hot pink La Marzocco machine to the fuchsia feature-wall and beetroot lattes, there’s a serious theme running through this Glasgow coffee shop. While the setting may be tailored for social media success, the baristas are passionate about crafting coffee which is going to taste phenomenal IRL – their latte art is pretty epic, too.

The Milkman, Edinburgh

Formerly a confectionery shop, The Milkman combines its original features and historic charm with contemporary fittings and speciality coffee to make a unique meeting place. Tip: the best seat in the house is the cosy window spot with cushions, blankets and a makeshift tray-table.
